Pokepirates

After Playing Emerald again and again my sister and I decided to pick some Pokemon for the Pirates from One Piece. Only the Straw-Hawts, Smoker and our three favorite Novas.

Soo, Luffy is a Monferno. Aipom isn't as awesome as a Fire/Fight Monkey, don't you agree? After the Timeskip he would have become an Infernape, by the way.
Ace is a Charmeleon, but is close to evolving to Charizard. (Or he would have if Akainu didn't eat him first)
Nami is a Persian. For Payday Reasons, I guess. Sneasel would have been a good choice, too.
Chopper is a Winter Deerling. For Obvious Reasons.
Zoro is a Tauros. Let's face it, those things are awesome. Shame they got such a limited Movepool.
Usopp is a Nuzleaf. Because of the Nose. After Timeskip he would have evolved to a Shiftry.
Brook is a Duskull. A Affro-Wearing and Violin-playing one.
Robin is a Gardevoir. Impressive, elegant, classy.
Sanji is a Blaziken. C'mon. It fits better than Hitmonlee and looks better.
Franky is a Rhydon. Not the easiest of Choices, but I guess it's working.
Smoker is a Typhlosion. Nuff said.
Ahhh. Kid. Kid is a Aggron. As far I'm concerned, Aggron is the best Steel-type (except for Heatran) and pretty much what Kid is. He will rip your ass off. And looks better than a Magnemite, anyways.
Killer is a Kabutops. After several tries where he was a Scyther, we picked the ancient Scyther. Kabutops is much better, more powerful and has a better Movepool. And it got those two scythes too.
And Law. Law is a Houndoom. Mainly because it is a Hellhound and the only one fitting Law that can learn Sludge Bomb.

Akainu would be an Arcanine, Aokiji a Articuno/Altaria, Kizaru an Alakazam and Enel would be a Raikou.
