...With lousy sense of Direction!

Zoro from One Pice vs Kenpachi from Bleach.

What both have in common: Both are extremly powerful sword fighters, both remove a piece of clothing from them to become more powerful (in Zoro's case he puts it on his head) and both just have no clue where they are.

My best guess would be that both wanted to fight someone else, but didn't find the fighting grounds. So they just started fighting each other.

Zoro is a white Bengal Tiger, Kenpachi a Lion. I know Lions are smaller than Tigers, but this is Kenpachi fer crying out loud.

And yes, Kenpachi caught Zoro's sword with his bare paws.

Zoro lies on the ground bleeding, his swords broken.
K: I don't know where you get off thinkin' you can be the next Kenpachi when you just got here. I don't have time for rookies.
Z:Enjoy your victory now, because I'm never losing to you again.
K:Hehe, your still alive? Your a tough one I'll give you that, but there's no way you can beat me.
Z: I have to become a captain, it's the only way.
K: The only way for what?
Z: To be able to go back to the living world. I'll have the ability to leave whenever I choose.
K: What's so importantant about the living world?
Z: My friends are there...(Zoro loses consciousness)
Kenpachi looks at Zoro, and then down to his own broken Zanpakto.
K: Lions song huh?

Kenpachi is like Bleach's Zoro, either they'd both get enterupted and be forced to move on (Zoro by Nami, Kenpachi by Unohana) of they'd both fall over in a bloody mess. The real winner is whoever SAW the fight.
